The Applied Wisdom Institute is built around the idea that combining wisdom, spirituality and ethics with strong organizational skills is urgently needed in our ever-changing sociopolitical, economic and technological world. Our Certificate in Spirituality & Social Entrepreneurship is designed for emerging leaders to apply their passion for social change to real world projects in an active, collaborative learning environment. A Wisdom Seed Grant is awarded to one project at the conclusion of the certificate program.

Our unique learning model includes expert instruction, a mentored community project of your choosing, as well as cohort feedback and collaboration. Our short-term hybrid on-campus/online certificate programs give students the tools and resources to put their goals into action quickly and effectively.

Module 2: Measuring Social Impact: Mission–Based Data Evaluation and Strategy (July 12 – September 1, 2018)
Module 3: Effective Storytelling through Media and Technology (September 2 – November 7, 2018)

Cost

The full certificate includes three modules. Students may take modules separately or as a package. Prices include lodging and food for on-campus seminars.

Wisdom Seed Grant

AWI is dedicated to supporting student-visionaries as they serve their communities and promote social action. The Wisdom Seed Grant is a unique opportunity for certificate participants to receive up to $2,000 to fund a project developed during the program.
